Post Christmas Update

It feels as if I haven’t written a post in absolutely ages, I actually couldn’t remember what button to press to make a post...

I’m so glad Christmas is over. Now everything can go back to normal and everything won’t be all festive related. Eating more than usual has been fun but I fear I soon will not fit into most of my clothing. Only NYE to tackle now and then after that I’ll never have to see another sequined dress for another year - praise the Lord. (why does everyone like them so much at this time of year?!) And I can get back to the gym because believe it or not I do actually go...

In other news by tonight all of my uni work will be done and I will be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I can’t wait to be stress free until I get my results and another round of coursework come January.

Hitting the sales tomorrow hopefully I’ll find something nice but to be honest I’m doubtful if online is anything to go by. It’s obvious they’ve just collected all the shit that hasn’t sold this summer and dumped it in the winter sale. Terrible people.

So you don't get bored here are some photographs from my recent photo shoot. I'm so proud of myself because I hate taking pictures and they turned out so well.

Sweatshirts Minus The Sweat

I have only just realised I’ve only done one outfit post this month! That is appalling, I apologize. I have new clothes and not as much work so I will hopefully churn more of these out :)

Jumper; eBay/DIY | Shorts; Levis via Charity Shop | Belt; Primark | Necklace; Gift | Bag; Vintage | Camo Jacket; eBay | Snood; ASOS

P.S look what I found whilst cleaning out my drawers. Nineties classic.

NYC

I’m back from New York now and I can say it was possibly the best place I have been to in the world so far! I loved it and I could definitely see myself living there in the future.

There’s not much more I can say to sell NY to you so here are the pictures.

Rockerfella Tree. (I think that’s how you spell it)

Basically it’s just a massive Christmas tree. And that’s it.

Time Square

Broadway Comedy Club

First comedy club experience and most of the acts did so well.

Shirt; eBay | Shorts; Levis via Charity Shop | Hat; H&M | Jacket; ASOS

Grand Central Station.

Just a big station. Round the corner there was an Irish Bar that did the cheapest drinks, you need to go there.

Jumper; Judy’s Vintage Fair | Skirt; Topshop | Boots; ASOS |

DASH

The Kardashian’s shop which was so nice. I have stood where a Kardashian has stood. It makes me so emotional. Saying that the clothes in there were not that great and very expensive.

Easy Jeans; American Apparel | Disco Pants; American Apparel | Skirt; Forever 21 | Jumper; American Apparel Jewellery; Diament Jewellery

Everything I bought (minus a necklace and a pair of sunglasses)

I have to say I was expecting the clothing to be much cheaper than they were but the American Apparel outlet was amazing everything in there was so reasonably priced for American Apparel. Even the normal one was cheaper than the extortionate prices we pay in Britain.

Black 'n' Rose

Top; ASOS | Discopants; American Apparel via eBay | Necklace; ASOS | Bracelet; Forever 21 (...but stolen from a friend.)

Just a quick post (I was so tempted to call this post 'All Black Everything' but was told it was cringey) as I am in the midst of writing an essay. The pressure of getting all my tasks done for Wednesday is on my head.

All Things Disco

This is exactly how I’ll look in my disco shorts...

This time in two weeks I will be on the plane to New York having a panic attack. The thought of a 7 hour plane journey is making me really anxious but it will all be worth it when I get to go to the american apparel outlet!!! I rarely get excited about anything but I am for this and the first thing I’m going to buy is anything disco related.

As you probably know I have a pair of black disco pants (from eBay) and they are my second skin. Now I wear them and wash them so much the thread is starting to come loose and I think it’s time to get a few more pairs but at £74 a pair in the UK it is unlikely that I would be able to scrape together enough cash to even afford the button on them. But an outlet in Soho, NYC sells them for just $40?!?! I wept. It also means I can get the disco shorts (this could be a huge mistake) and disco skirt (not sure if I like it yet but it has disco in front of it so I will buy it.)

I’ll be sure to update you all on what I’ve bought!

Burgundy Love

Dress; Topshop | Jacket; ASOS | Belt; H&M | Snood; ASOS | Boots; ASOS

Rings; Topshop/ASOS | Earrings; Topshop

Why are there so many burgundy items in my winter wardrobe? I am like a magpie, attracted to burgundy coloured things. I’ve even started to like red wine - what’s happening to me?

P.S changed font till I find one I like - what do you think?

Keith Urban

Shirt; Primark | Dress; Romwe | Hat; eBay | Earrings; Topshop

It’s officially winter. When the parka comes out you know that the weather is truly unbearable.

I’d say this is quite an ‘urban’ look. I love beanies at the moment mainly because my extensions are coming out and it partially covers this. The other reason is my struggle for most hats to fit my exceptionally large head. This beanie is slightly small for me and it slips off my head throughout the day but what can a girl do.

In other news, Topshop have some really nice winter dresses at the moment. It was painful to go in there. I just want everything. However, I was disappointed to see a dress I had bought last year in there with longer sleeves. How lazy are the designers churning out the same thing but with longer sleeves.

Also I’ve given my blog a make over! (If you hadn’t noticed) I thought the blue and pink was a bit too summery considering the arctic conditions. Black, gold and burgundy are my favourite winter colours . Hope you like it.

Saved By The Bell

Sweater; Polo Jeans Company | Jacket; eBay | Jeans; ASOS | Belt; H&M | Bag; Louis Vuitton

Just a quick post of the outfit I wore to uni the other day. In most of the photo I do look demented but that is because I was in a rush. Not much else to say. Still poor.
