Usain Bolt

Dress; Topshop Sale | Jacket; Vintage | Trainers; Nike Blazers via eBay | Necklaces; Topshop | Bag; Topshop Sale
Today I woke up at 5:30 to go to the gym (I don’t know how I did it) so in keeping with the sport theme I thought why not wear a sporty outfit. I also received my vintage Nike Blazers in the post today and thought they definitely deserved an outing. The humidity today is unreal I feel like I’m on holiday, hopefully it stays fairly warm so I can wear all my summer clothes.
By the way has anyone ever noticed how the minute there is a ray of sunshine in England every man thinks it’s acceptable to go out without a top on? It’s never a hot model either always an old man with a beer belly and awful tribal tattoos...

Under the Sea

So recently I have been absolutely obsessed with being a mermaid, which is strange because I hate the sea. I don’t know how this mermaid thing has come about but i’m getting so into it by decorating my room blue and green, dying my hair blue and green and eating prawns.
Azealia Banks has been sporting some amazing mermaid locks recently and it makes me so jealous. I feel like she’s stolen my thunder - she’s got a song called Aquababe, a mixtape called Fantasea and she’s having a mermaid ball. How am I supposed to top that?

Cobra

Top; H&M| Cardigan; Vintage | Necklace; Topshop | Shorts; Levi’s | Belt; Primark

I’m only going to the pub to watch the football today so I don’t look amazing but I thought I’d just do a quick normal day outfit post. It’s quite warm today so I’m not really dressed for this heat but it’s England so one minute it’s blisteringly hot the next there’s a hurricane. And when the hurricane comes I will be prepared!
Ciao 4 now.

New Wardrobe Additions

Today I dragged myself out of my pit on the day before Father's Day to buy my Grandad a Father's Day card (the worst mistake ever because I almost lost a limb in Card Factory). Whilst I was in town I thought might as well pop into my local YMCA and they had so much good stuff in there. I got 2 pairs of Levi's denim shorts, a pair of dungarees (not pictured) and some lilac denim shorts all for £23.98! The lilac shorts are going back though. I was slightly overly optimistic when I bought them because I look like a sausage bursting out of it's casing.
Pictures of me in my outfits will be coming soon it’s just all I seem to wear these days are tracksuit bottoms and a polo top (not by choice I work in a sports shop). I’m just at that sad stage in life where you’re so poor you find a penny on the floor and you get excited. So all I do is work, sleep and eat but when I get more exciting you’ll be the first to know!

Cheetah Gurrrl

I’m getting into this blogging thing aren’t I - 4 posts in one day?!
Just wanted to finish the day by showing the world the new loves of my life. I’ve never been a shoe girl but these shoes have stolen my heart and their also SO comfortable.
Disclaimer: I am aware that my legs look like lamb shanks and I need to hoover but ignore that and appreciate the shoes!

Gimme Gimme Gimme

Being a poor student I often, like many, just look at then end up buying things I can’t afford. These are 4 things I really want at the moment but now I’ve just written this there is so many more things I want! So expect me to churn out a couple more of these.
(Going from the top left clockwise)
Marc by Marc Jacobs Too Hot to Handle
I was getting my eyebrows threaded and I noticed this girl with a green Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag, me being me I didn’t ask her what it was called and after scouring the internet for it I haven’t found it. However, I did find this one which I actually prefer and I worked out if I don’t eat , go out, or do anything that involves spending money I could buy this in a month. Now all I have to debate over is whether to get the parrot green shade or classic black.
Johnny Loves Rosie headband
I have wanted a floral headband for ages. I get so bored of my hair that I have to stick something in it to make it more exciting every now and again. Although I’m reluctant to hand over £2o for this I can still appreciate the beauty and perhaps have a go of making it myself. I go crazy for anything floral because it just makes me look and feel so girly and feminine.
George @ Asda dungarees
Right the thing about these dungarees is I’m not actually crazy about them BUT they have so much potential. Basically I saw a mint green pair on eBay, I fretted over the sizing and before I knew it they were gone. I have cried myself to sleep ever since and I hope they have gone to the right owner. So my idea was to bleach the shit out of these ones and then dye them green? I don’t think it would achieve the mint shade i’m after but you never know it might turn out even better than the pair I saw.
Gwen Stefani circa 1990s sporting glitzy bindis
So I am really liking this whole grunge 90s thing going on at the moment and I thought these bindi’s looked really cool so now, naturally, I want one! I don’t have a clue where I would wear it to or what I would wear it with but it just looks so cool.
This post is getting rather long now and I’m sure your bored or have possible stopped reading way before this point but check out my items on eBay. I don’t know how to do that link thing yet (I’m a slow learner) but if you type in jazmin.duribe my items should come up!
Ciao 4 now.

Scarf Prints

These are some of the photos I took for a magazine unit at university and considering I hate taking photos these turned out pretty good! My friend Naz modelled for me and all the clothing is from ASOS.

Whilst my blog is under construction I thought I'd at least give you something to look at :)

Intro

Hello world!
I'm Jazmin, 19, and I'm an aspiring fashion writer. I'll soon be entering my second year of university and I've had that panic attack where you think shiiiit I'm actually going to have to get a job in the real world soon... So this blog will allow me to show my work, get other people's perspectives on fashion/lifestyle/whatever and give me an outlet for ranting (Be warned I love a good old rant) because there's only so much you can say on twitter.
I've been putting off starting a blog for a while because (1) I don't understand how to use one and (2) I am lazy, so please bear with me. It may take me a while to get the hang of this because I struggle with anything that involves technology but I will try my best to deliver some good quality, regular posts.
If anyone has any tips or advice they could give me feel free I can take criticism and need all the help I can get!
